Approved File Formats

  • PDF, EPS, AI Vector Art: must be compatible with Adobe Illustrator CC or Corel Draw (X7)
    • Please be sure to convert all type to outlines (paths)
    • Files with placed or linked images must contain the original image or have the image embedded into the document
  • PDF, EPS, TIF, PSD: must be compatible with Photoshop CC
    • Minimum 300 dpi

Art Charges

The first 15 minutes of a project a free. A design fee of $60.00/hour will be charged for additional time (one hour minimum).

A single virtual representation (virtual) of the order may be requested for free; however, the customer understands a virtual is not a proof and minor changes on location, size, coloring, etc. may occur on final completed project.

Additional requests for virtuals after the first, or those that require more than 15 minutes design time may incur additional charges at the regular design rate. In some cases, those charges may be requested, by the customer, as a credit back upon job order (approval of these situations are at the discretion of the Jarden Custom sales manager).

A PDF proof of the order is free. Additional PDF proofs will be invoiced at the rate of $18.75 (G).

Art Submission:

All e-mails must include distributor name, contact, phone number, explanation of attachment and P.O. number.

File Upload: Visit to upload your artwork. Contact your sales rep for login information and assistance.

We recommend compressing (or zipping) your files.

Set-Up Charges:

None. That's right, unlike many of our competitors, we feel setup fees are an antiquated way of doing business. What you see listed as the product price is the actual price!

Split Shipment Charges:

We charge an additional $6.25 (G) per multiple shipment location after the first. If case packs are broken, the charge is $15.00 (G) per location.

Freight Terms

Sales are F.O.B. Wichita, KS., meaning the shipping and handling amounts are pre-paid and those amounts reflected on the sales invoice. All titles of goods pass to customers at the time the merchandise is assigned to a carrier. JCS Home Appliances and its parent and/or subsidiary companies are not responsible for delays or damages in route. Subsequent freight charges may occur, after initial billing, for incorrect shipping information or additional carrier charges.

A handling fee of $2.50 (net) for ground and $5.00 (net) for freight will be charged per destination for shipments on customer supplied account numbers. Orders requiring pallets will be charged $12.00 (net) per pallet.

Freight Claims

Goods should be inspected immediately upon arrival in order to file a claim with the carrier in case of damage or shortage. If damage or shortage is found, discuss with the carrier at the time of delivery. Claims for freight adjustments, breakage, damaged goods, and delays in transit must be reported within 5 days of receipt of the product. Credit will be issued upon receipt of a paid claim.

Product Substitution Policy

Based on product availability, products may be replaced with an item of equal or greater value without notice. Product colors may change without notice – please contact factory.


JCS Home Appliances will not accept returns of customized products.


All customers are net 30 days upon approval of credit. We also accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express. Payments must be made
in U.S. funds.
